Quiz ace beaten by tricky Millionaire question
COVENTRY'S quiz show expert Naveen Mann is still kicking himself about his performance last night on ITV's Who Wants to be a Millionaire?
When the 42-year-old chartered accountant met Chris Tarrant, he was less nervous than most people because he'd already written a book entitled Journey To The Hot Seat.
The former pupil of Sidney Stringer School in Coventry believed he had researched almost every subject under the sun in a systematic fashion.
But his questions up to ?10,000 were trickier than most and he'd already used all his lifelines by the time Chris posed the ?20,000 question.
This was: Which popular song lyric began with the line: "I was born in a cross-fire hurricane?"
Sadly, Naveen, who grew up in Browett Road, Coundon, is not a fan of the Rolling Stones and had no idea that the words were from their 1968 hit Jumping Jack Flash.
